On a recent trip to Australia, GI Joe Director Stephen Sommers announced that there will be a sequel to GI Joe. Who knew that GI Joe obviously ended with a second movie in mind?
Usually, I'm not a big fan of "custom" you tube videos where usually people with no real video editing talent recreate movie trailers. This one however, is pretty good (except for the one blank green screen).

It's really quite funny. We watched it a couple of weeks ago. I came across this article that may explain why the Hangover has done so well this Summer.
Actually she says, "My doll is cross-eyed and has the biggest chin you have ever seen." At least she's right about the doll part. When ever you try to turn a chick into an action figure - she will always end up a doll. At least this doll's not a home wrecking slut, Sienna.
It will be interesting to see the box office numbers after this weekend. For the box office week of Friday August, 21 thru Thursday August 27 GI Joe still held on to the number 3 spot. Revenge of the fallen ended the week at number 16 on the box office list.

GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra raked in $56,200,000 this past premiere weekend. We did not make it to see any movie this weekend. However, I am highly considering taking my wife and kids to the drive in about an hour away from us for the double feature of GI Joe and RotF. Would prefer not to see this at the drive- in, but I've been waiting for an excuse to take my kids. If not for this movie, they wouldn't know what a drive- in is!
At least they did in Great Lakes, Illinois last weekend. I think it's great and they deserve it!
Go Joe cappuccino or the GI Joe themed Liquid Artillery slurpee are available now at local 7-Elevens along with four 22 oz. themed collectible GI Joe cup. We don't have any 7-Eleven's in my town, but really any slurpee sounds good. Don't know if I want to suck out of a GI Joe. Why no Baroness?
